Summer riding conditions made the route even more adventurous. Rain started early in the morning and turned the tracks into a slippery challenge, but we pushed our way through the mountains. By afternoon, the sun came out, the trails began to dry, and the landscape opened up into some of the most rewarding riding conditions in Vietnam.
Along the way, we met some unforgettable local people, including a lively H’mong man who treated us to an unexpected musical performance. Encounters like these are part of what make a
