We did the 7‑day, 7‑night Ha Giang with China Border tour and it was my first trip with Cuong — it definitely won’t be my last. The riding was amazing, challenging, and incredibly well‑organised. The team could split the group depending on terrain difficulty, so everyone rode at the right level without feeling held back or pushed too far. The accommodation was top‑notch, and every meal was superb. Cuong even made sure my son’s food allergy needs were taken care of, which I was genuinely grateful for. Airport transfers and train transfers were all handled perfectly, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. What stood out most is that Cuong genuinely wants you to have the best possible experience and to enjoy the beauty of Vietnam. I’ve just completed a motorbike adventure through Northern Vietnam with Coungs Motorbike Adventure, and it was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organised. The bikes were reliable and well maintained, which gave me a lot of confidence riding through some pretty remote and challenging terrain. The routes were unreal winding mountain roads, stunning valleys, and small villages that you’d never find on your own. Every day felt like something out of a documentary. What really made the trip stand out, though, was the local knowledge and guidance. The guides knew the region inside out and took us to authentic spots for food, coffee, and accommodation. It didn’t feel like a touristy experience at all much more like being shown around by locals who genuinely care about what they do. The balance between riding, sightseeing, and relaxing was spot on. There was enough flexibility to enjoy the ride at your own pace, but everything still ran smoothly in the background. If you’re even slightly considering a motorcycle trip in Vietnam, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s an incredible way to see the country, and Cuong’s Motorcycle Adventure absolutely delivers. I must say we have done trail bike adventures in different countries but Chong’s adventure group really rates up to be the best iv ever done. We road through some of the most remarkable and remote countryside I’ve ever been through and met some amazing local traditional village Vietnamese people along our tour ride. Cuong met up with us a few days in to our trip and like the rest of his team was a champion of a bloke as well. All 6 of us couldn’t have been happier with the way all the staff treated us and to the many, many different rice, grape, apple wines and many different local traditional food in each town/village we road through and stayed in. These guys know how to entertain and look after the guests. Just had the most epic 10x day tour ride with Phu and his crew riding the high country of Hanoi with 6x of us. They were the most hospitable people I have met and spent time with. From the get go organising our adventure over emails to when we first got to meet the crew in Hanoi was nothing but smooth sailing. We road through some of the most remarkable and remote countryside I’ve ever been through and met some amazing local traditional village Vietnamese people along our tour ride. Cuong met up with us a few days in to our trip and like the rest of his team was a champion of a bloke as well. Ride of your life!
If you’re looking to explore Vietnam, going with Cuong’s on a ride is the BEST way to do it. Phu led me to some amazing views, but of course not without a little challenge. Despite me having no experience on off-roads, he took me to routes that were challenging enough but still well within my limits.
He also made sure everything from food to accom was settled; all I needed to do was get on the bike.. You’d be hard pressed to find a better tour than this. Even if you’re going solo, you’ll have an amazing adventure with plenty of memories to take with you. I’m definitely coming back for another tour!
Great motorcycle ride, from Hanoi nort and west to Ha Giang province
My wife and I did the 8D8N Ha Giang Far North trip (starting Oct 23/2019).
It was a group ride and we had enough people to get a 4 man crew and a support truck for our luggage.
Phú was the lead rider, Tập the mechanic/sweeper rider, Giới driving the truck, and Đức (aka Edward) an informative tour guide).
We had a couple more serious off-road riders, with the rest of us with less experience away from good roads but still up for a bit of a challenge.
The crew did a great job of managing our varying abilities splitting the group when necessary but still taking taking all of us off the main roads and on routes less travelled and more interesting.
Amazing trip to North East Vietnam with Cuong’s team. Great roads, some challenges in the mud, rocks and water, and fantastic support from our guide Phu, who tailored the route to our interests and experience. What a great adventure. Absolutely brilliant fun.
Awesome tour with WONDERFUL guides, mechanics, and staff
I was the sidecar pilot for Paul B and agree with every word of his review. I ride the Ural at home in Dalat and had been wanting to take this tour for a number of years. Paul’s first visit to Vietnam was the perfect opportunity and we took it.
If you want a serene, calm, and uneventful motorbike tour, I suggest you call someone else. If you want a wonderful, exciting, first-time experience, this is the place to go.
I normally HATE tours, yet I enjoyed every bit of this one. You can go at your own pace, stop and take photos or admire the scenery anytime you want, and the crew always makes sure that you’re okay.
Stop dreaming about it and do it!

It was worth every penny. The tour had a dedicated tour coordinator, who is the best human you will ever meet, as well as the awesome on road crew. The leader spent time getting a sense of all of the different levels in the group. We had a lot of discussion and choice about the trail options each day. There was always an option to split the group if someone needed more of a rest or a challenge. The accommodation and food are above and beyond. We had some really great little moments at palaces, waterfalls, China border and other important cultural stops along the way. I couldn’t recommend this more highly to anyone who loves a crack on a dirt-bike. Vietnams is just beautiful and these guys really show you the best of it. Right from the start everything was easy. Cuongs communication was awesome he thinks of everything and had us covered, from pick up at the airport everything was seamless even though we had different arrival times and dates nothing was a problem for Cuong. The bikes were surprisingly good CRF300. The entire team sweep riders and mechanics were awesome, no matter what the trails through at you “No Problem” from Cuong and the guys. He was a real gentleman to deal with and a straight shooter. Our group of experienced riders kept getting surprised every day the accomodation was great the trails were stunning food was good every detail was sorted so we could just enjoy and relax into an amazing adventure. We travelled thru the area of the Hill Tribe people in the mountainous northwest. Everything was provide by Cuong and his crew. The Honda CRF300 bikes were perfect for the job. The accommodation and food were authentic and great. The gin and tonics waiting for us a the end of the day were pretty good too. The riding was extremely challenging at times but the crew was always there to assist. Cuong and his crew provided insights into the people and places we travelled thru which gave us real appreciation of Vietnam and its people. This particular tour is for experienced riders with dirt skills, however there were easier options if needed.
