While Sapa is well and truly on the tourist map these days, there is much, much more to the northwest — Our Sapa to Hoi An Motorbike tour is the perfect way to see it all! We start in the Sapa Highlands and travel south through the mountains to the Ho Chi Minh Trail, across the DMZ and finish in the ancient port of Hoi An.
The steep mountains of the Hoang Lien Son range have a wide variety of ethnic minority people that have made its river valleys and hillsides their home. Over the centuries, local people have carved spectacular rice terraces into the mountains, and their small settlements are now connected by dramatic passes. There are now fantastic tarmac roads throughout this region all the way down the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Hi An. This 11 day – 12 night adventure ride take it all in.
Our Sapa to Hoi An Tour start with an overnight train to the Chinese border where we pick up the bikes and continue up to the Sapa highlands, hill-tribe villages and mountain roads. we head south along the border with Laos to meet the Ho Chi Minh Trail and continue through national parks, war sites like Khe Sanh, DMZ and Vinh Moc stopping at beaches on our way to Hoi An.
